The line

Steep, grey limestone on the great wall above Céüse: pockets, a long stretch of resistance, and a final crux that appears just when your forearms think it is over.

Beta, gear and approach

14 draws, 80 m rope is comfortable. The crag sits at 1800 m — mornings are cold even in July and afternoon thunderstorms are common. Long but easy approach on a dirt road.

Long, cold and beautiful. We started at 6am and still climbed in a cloud. The rock is superb but the top crux is far harder than the rest of the route and took me three sessions to figure out. Do not underestimate the approach.
